Massage to me is a form of communication; it is a way I can say that I care. Where once I was guided by intuition alone I now have the knowledge of anatomical structure and function to address people's concerns.
Growing up in Abbotsford BC I moved to Vancouver to graduate from Utopia Academy's Registered Massage Therapy program in June 2010. The Lotus House, a multidisciplinary clinic that has many great minds and skills from several areas of the healing arts, has been a loving and supportive space to grow as a RMT and as a person. The Creek Massage Practice in Roberts Creek is another beautiful clinic space that I can offer to people living closer to that area. I have the pleasure of working with Bonnie and Richard Gibbon at Gibvey Pain Clinic in Sechelt as well.

Certified Osteopathic Practitioner SPMPO (BC) Gosc (UK)
Linda is a UK trained osteopathic practitioner who has over 20 years of experience helping patients overcome their conditions and rapidly return to a pain-free life. Now relocated on Canada's west coast of British Columbia, near Sechelt, she continues to help people using traditional, time proven osteopathic techniques that are unique to her profession, and is one of only a small handful of osteopathic practitioners in the province of British Columbia.
What is osteopathy?
The practice of balancing and correcting problems relating to the musculoskeletal system, relieving pain, and encouraging the body to heal itself. When the bones, joints and muscles are not working harmoniously, other systems of the body begin to stop functioning smoothly. Osteopathic philosophy contends that the body is capable of healing itself, but only when the musculoskeletal system is properly aligned. An osteopath manipulates and applies pressure to the affected part of the body to release stress and tension. Unlike some therapies which concentrate mainly on the manipulation of the spine, osteopathy also works on organs and other bones within the body, improving posture, relieving pain and promoting a well-functioning body.
Unlike some other therapies, osteopathy does not stop at the spine as the main source of pain and disease, searching not only the entire body for the source of any ailments, but external influences as well, such as stress, depression, etc.
